After bath dance party necessities: "T-T bale" ie Tinker Bell costume, with wings of course and an Abby wand, and lots of music with a strong beat.

Here it is, the first instance where Addison has stolen my shoes. I am sure there is instances to come in the future.

And why is she clutching that blanket like a 4month old? It just came out of the dryer, super nice on a cold single digit night!

Because You Guys Always Want More.

Addison loves reading. She loves her New Testament picture book in particular. However, the story she always seems drawn to is the one about a guy possessed and then his demons come out of him as pigs. A little bit scary. Sometimes, this kid just doesn't sleep in long enough for me on the weekends. On mornings like this I set her up with juice a snack (dry ceral), and cartoons. I then can snooze in bed for another 30min before she comes and checks on me. A few weeks ago I came back out to her all accessorized like this.

She was wearing all her necklaces from her toy drawer and had put on all the headbands Grandma Jodi had sent her. Very stylish!

Here's her Christmas dress that Pop Pop picked out this year.

Three Degrees and Decreasing

It's officially Winter here in Sturgeon Bay. Last week we recieved our first big snow storm of the year and this week it's been in the single digits, plus wind chill factor. This has been the first year Addison has been old enough and well enough to go out and experience the snow. She came home one night and threw herself on the floor moving her arms and legs and saying snow man. I realized I had read at school they learned about Winter activities. I put two and two together and said, "Oh, you mean snow angel." She still calls it snowman angel. BTW she is very good at it too!

That night we got hit by the first storm of the season and in the morning I took her out to make a real snow angel. The first thing she did was throw herself on a pile of snow. She is loving it and doesn't seem to mind the cold at all.
