I Heart this girl!

I love this kid. No, really besides the obvious reasons, she's mine, she's blazingly cute, she's funny, etc. etc. etc. She always notices and admires my completed projects, Ryan, ummm not so much. I finally finished up this Valentine slipcover, just in time for Valentine's day...next year, and had it sitting on the couch. When she went in the room she immediately noticed it and went crawling all mad woman like over to it and began inspecting it. My peeps banner was the same thing. When she woke up from her nap she looked up at it, pointed, smiled, and gibbered something to the effect of, "Mom, you are just so awesome! Look at the great handiwork you just made. It's the best I've ever seen and I love it!" For days she kept looking up at it, pointing, and got all happy. It makes me so happy to make her happy and to have someone appreciate my projects. Sure Ryan appreciates them but just not in the same way. We finally got our package from Oregon. We had to ship out all the goodies we picked up while on the West Coast. With two grandmas you easily fill up your suitcase and then some. Here's some of the cute socks my Mom made Addison. You might be able to tell they are a bit BIG. Hey, we still have one more WI winter to make it through so no worries. They'll get used.

We watched General Conference today. There were so many great talks and a lot of humorous points as well. Addison watched the choir intently and enjoyed a snack while sitting in her chair my Mom made as well.
