We went to the county fair and took Addison for the first time. It was very important to Ryan that he take her to see the animals. She wasn't so excited to be so close to them. We also went to her first demolition derby. Thanks to earplugs she took her nap through most of it.
Pretty tentative, even with the baby rabbits.
This was really a cool picture in person but on film... well it's pretty much just cow butts.
She wasn't sure with the goats at her feet.
The pigs were not as cool as the straw.
We also went to the Maritime festival and saw some pirates! We were hoping Addison would perform her "one eye Willie" face, but not go.
It was s-o-o-o-o-o-o humid this day. It was kind of miserable and made us just want to run into the museum to escape the heat. Just one problemo...the museum was just as hot and stifling as outside. No AC people? Isn't a $12 ticket a piece enough to pay for AC?
Addison indulging in some ice cream minus the cherry pie side.
At the festival they have teams who build "boats" in a limited time out of cardboard and some sort of caulking. We went to watch the teams try to float their boats. Notice Addison's dress is perfectly coordinated for the occasion! Oh what fun it is to have a darling little girl. Ryan always asks me if it's fun to dress her up like my personal doll. Yes, it is!
As always, she wants more, more, more ice cream!
I had Ryan take this picture of us before we went to church. I only have a handful of pictures with Addison and I. I am usually behind the camera and for fear that she will not know how much her Mommy loves her I wanted it documented.
Look at those two cute teeth! She just broke her fourth one also. Now she has two middle lower ones, two on top, the ones on the outside of where her front teeth will be. Maybe, if she's lucky, she'll get her two front teeth for Christmas.
LOVE the green polka-dot dress. She looks beautiful in it! Also loved that you actually got into a picture...your hair looks really cute. Love all of her fair and boating clothes..she is just sooo cute. I think that blonde hair will stick around so she can be just like her aunt!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she "The Cutest" little girl in the whole wide world??? Yup, I'm definitely prejudiced--and proud of it!! (and her)
